Extreme Camping

Stayed over at Senpai’s sis’s condo (it’s complicated) over the weekend. She hooked up her laptop to the huge plasma TV! IT WAS F*AWESOME.

Here’s what we chionged:
Handsome Suit - Loved the pun ブスーツ! Super cute and colorful.
Door to Door - Based on a true story of Bill Porter. Throughout the film I kept thinking of how hard it was for him to twitch his face like that.
Queen of Pirates concert DVD - Truth be told I wouldn’t have watched it but what to do, this is Senpai we’re talking about XDDD TURNED OUT TO BE A GREAT CONCERT LOVELY LIGHTING AND EXTRAVAGANT DISPLAY OF PYROTECHNICS AND PROPS. Also, kept screaming (in horror) at Kamenashi’s unseemly display of erotica, among others :P
Smile episode 01 - Eh first episode was full of super random cuts and confusing and tried to tackle too many topics, but from the previews it looks like episode 02 will be much better. However this is the last I’ll hear of it.
Slam Dunk episode 01 - I think there’s no need to introduce this XD Way to start Sunday morning :DDD
One Piece episodes 218-257 – CHIONGSTER!!!!! And this, the first time I actually start getting serious about this anime, I start from the middle. Win.

Here’s what we ate:

Packed lunch from home – porridge and beans and some fish cake.

WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT THAT JACK & JILL WOULD COME UP WITH UNAGI CHIPS!?!?! Also, we shared Pringles and 4 donuts from Jco.

Dinner was a magnificent home-delivery takeout feast of Roti John, Murtabak, 10 Satays, 1 tupperware of beansprouts… I forgot from where. Senpai can testify that I could not move after eating.

Breakfast the next day was Senpai being domestic! Maggi Me with fried egg and others. Nom!

AND THEN FOR A MIDDAY SNACK SHE FRIED FRENCH TOAST A:DFlsmklgjdengkl!!!!

We ordered takeout from Sakae Suchi for dinner. They gave us 6 spoons. It was so lol because seriously the two of us were eating six people’s share???

Have been chionging One Piece from where we left off to the end of the arc (episode 316). Am now starting from the beginning and so far am at episode 10. In the meantime I painted my nails and made earrings. How’s that for productivity while not stepping one foot out of the house for the past two days, hah!

Okay I have no life.

Midomi

ad’akdfksdg I just sang 5 songs on Midomi. For some reason I was on a roll and would probably go on until either the new(er) microphone or my voice box broke down…

But then I have homework due tomorrow :P

Petrified House Lizard

There is no explanation I can find on the almighty internet for the presence of this after showering tonight.

(There is, however, information on how to get rid of them. But I can’t see how peacock feathers can do the job even though people swear by it. Whut?)

Lighting is terrible in the bathroom.

Had to step out of the bathroom with only a towel because it was right behind where I put my change of clothes. “Oei! Wah lau eh!” I cried after discovering the huge lizard. Because occasionally I try to make small talk like the time a baby lizard in my room grew bigger and I cooed at it but it scurried off :(

Anyway I realised it wasn’t moving. And attempts to scare it off– banging the door against the rail, slapping the wall, pulling my change of clothes away from the lizard. Nothing worked. And it didn’t seem to be breathing.

Why is it petrified? Did it get electrocuted? Did it break its spine? A heart attack (the tail seems a bit red from the pictures and I’m guessing it was on the verge of breaking its tail)?

AND WHY IS IT STILL STUCK TO THE WALL.

Maybe it’s hibernating. With its eyes open.

Last night I came home close to midnight after camping in school since Monday, and didn’t dare step into to the elevator because it seemed so foreign.

The camping experience also has my body having a climate of its own. I find myself shivering from bouts of internal chills. Wth? Couple that with the onset of monthly blood loss starting this morning. Whoopee! Come on it’s the last lap I can’t fall ill…

Psychic Senpai

A while ago, before this semester started, I met up with Senpai and told her about my consecutive 3-day week. She predicted with full confidence that I would be in a loop of zzzz’s and !!!!’s (the actions that she did were so lol-tastic I laughed in the MRT XD).

My inability to keep my eyes from succumbing to the weight of them lids are proof enough. 3 days of hell, yo. (Plus the other 4 days of trying to do homework so that the 3 days won’t be as hellish)

Slee’s class today was uhm. Kimkim was the first to comment on the apparent obscene drawing I did (the pile of snow looked like breasts, and there was a boy with both hands on them boobies.) And then, when it came for my turn to be critiqued, Slee said he thought the same picture looked like breasts. And then I said it was all a coincidence. And the people who knew me went and suan-ed me, saying how I didn’t mean to depict such stuff but my subconscious prevails always.

Funny stuff, at my expense. (Is still funny.) Just a little embarrassing. There goes whatever shreds of my reputation for the people I don’t know in the class.

I’ve been awake too long to be coherent much.

Entertainment Marathon!

Senpai for Cash today. Sang a lot of English pop yay!

(Later at night when I boasted to Ti how I sang my favourite Nickelback songs, he did the >_> face and said those songs are normally not to be sung in KTV. I differ! Shouting songs are what make me high, while ultra high notes make Senpai high)

And then we rushed off to catch the 4.40 pm show Kung Fu Panda.

The first picture I took was of the two funny guys with yellow box heads. Shasha took one look at them and exclaimed, “L’arc en Ciel!”. Impressive, Shasha! I’d mistook them for the stop-motion character a senior did last year XD

Badminton and Stuff

Alright, so I managed to finish up Mr. Muo’s Travelling Couch in the library while waiting for Senpai to get off from her work. It is an interesting read, fascinating in the naive pursuit of Mr. Muo in search of virgins where he travels China to make use of his studies in psychoanalysis to interpret dreams (This is a bad, long sentence). All in the name of idealistic love. I’d picked this book randomly because it looked new, the hardcover was nice (covers play a huge part in my decision-making), and subsequently what made me keep on reading despite several attempts in the jarring narration in the beginning was that everything fell into place later on, and the various misadventures Mr. Muo went through, and just the description, and the dreams, and the issue on virginity (i.e. sex). Mostly the dreams though. I liked the parts where he interpreted them; the references to Freud I was grateful to Western Art History last year for acquainting me with (another bad sentence, but I am tired).

I read before going to bed last night, and the last thing I remembered while I was counting sheep (because I couldn’t sleep after rolling around for 2 hours), was that the 3rd one turned blue, and then there wasn’t any sheep anymore. It became Mr. Muo marquee-ing from left to right on his bicycle. Damn funny. His legs weren’t even pedaling.

Yesterday was slacking during Animation History lecture, getting re-acquainted with dragonfly origami and penned illustrations, and because I was feeling damn pissed about the academic advisement, I played with Bix’s keychain which is a miniature fortune teller.

“Will I ever get to have sex before I die?” I asked, clasping my hands with the box enclosed.

Turned out that I had held the box upside down, and the fortune stick was already out:

Tried again, this time properly, and it said 大吉, but it’s just not the same anymore T^T

Still feeling spaced

Okay, so yesterday. Friday. Shit, I want to eat Shasha’s mother’s fried food! *slobbers*

Kyohei didn’t have a handphone, so I stood waiting outside the MRT station for around half an hour, panicking. Some girl came up to me while I was waiting for him, so I removed my ear phones and bent down to ask what was the matter (did she need directions?).
