Bowling & Shopping

Last Saturday we (Ruru, Shasha, Sal and Bix) got together to celebrate Jo’s belated birthday. Jo wanted to go bowling, so we did. I’m not too fond of the sport but it turned out to be really fun with the girls.

I just keep watching the condensed video and laughing at the references from Real Time XD

Hello back.

Been under the weather recently.

According to today’s front page, flash floods of up to 3 meters may occur today or tomorrow. Good job dispensing mucus, my nose. Contribution is always appreciated.

It’s been an on/off affair. Tuesday was spent head-banging and singing our throats sore at Cash with Ruru, Shasha, Sal, Bix and Jo. 5 hours! It was great, I had fun XDD

(Part of it was my discovering the ‘increase tempo’ button, Rockers!)

We should go again sometime, but Bix and Jo have to sing louder hor! :D Maybe next time we should riot in the room and jump up and down (Just not on the chairs. Mum and her friends did that at some karaoke place one time and the staff had to go into the room to ask them not to do it -_-).

Wednesday was spent in misery as I curled in bed (Ti’s, because his room has the most light in the daytime) and re-read another Terry Pratchett I’d read before. I suppose the upside of having a lousy memory is that every book you’ve read before seems somewhat like a new book. Oh, I remember hazily that so-and-so died, but hey, he died like that? Cool.

Mum gave me a cup of the ever-trusty Nin Jiom Herbal Tea, and I slept until it was time for me to go clubbing with Ade and Puey and Sheena and ShuP and Jenna. Ade’s gonna be passing me the photos from Skinny tomorrow so I’ll talk about that then. I’m running out of tissue to clean up my sneezes.

Woes of the Consumer

For a while now I’ve been enamored with coats… which is highly impractical due to Singapore’s tropical weather and the ghastly price tags they come with.

The cute one at FCUK costs $259.

Well at least it comforted me that it didn’t look as fetching as I thought it would when I tried it on.

So…. I got a desktop. Actually I got it on Saturday but I put off touching it because I despise having to organise my stuff and installing all the programs again. I can’t find my driver cd for the tablet, btw. Ugh.

Anyways, Shasha’s desktop is called Hakumei, and Bix’s one is called KuroII. But I’m not in the habit of naming my possessions so don’t ask me for a name because it’s generally known as my ‘comp’, my ‘desktop’, or ‘the bloody piece of shit hung!!!!’.

Not yet, but I’m sure I’ll get to call it by the latter soon enough :D

I needed something to vent my frustration on, and Bix was kind enough to sacrifice her sketchbook. See the thin dark inverted swoosh? That was it. Then I felt bad just doing that and got down to randomly filling the page up. The characters in the square are 先輩 (Japanese) and 前辈 (Chinese), I think because halfway Shasha, Bix, and I got into that topic and I wrote the characters down to explain something about it… or was it to get some explanation? I forgot XD

A collab done by Me, Shasha and Bix. Features an angry maki by Ken. I think the theme was ‘Cute’, but we kinda went off in some XD Shasha was depressed because she was in an art funk, and we didn’t finish it, so because of these I’m not too satisfied. Hopefully one day we get to do a better one :D

Oh yea, Fatty is gone and will be back on the 14th. I am left with a camera phone. This is like leaving me on an island with a penknife. Hello, penknife cannot cut coconut to eat XD

I painted my toes in RGB last Wednesday. Mum saw me while I was painting and laughed, said I was so di siao.  Showed Pa on Thursday and he positively shuddered before telling me to put my feet back in my shoes. He was amused though XDDD

I don’t like the green. I think it’s too diluted. It looks yellow.

Quickie

Light-headed from sleeping at 5am this morning and then waking up for school again at 7:30am. I overslept.

I’m probably gonna get muscle aches in my abdomen from laughing so hard with Mum while chiong-ing my dragonfly in the wee hours of the morning. I can’t imagine anyone prostrating for 20 hours a day non-stop. Can become Buddha le XDD
