Genting 2008

Day 01

Chilled at Starbucks right after reaching Genting.

Day 02

Breakfast at Burger King revealed that Boh tea is used.

Arcade.

Caught the sunset alone.

Generally I was being morose because of the constipation.

Day 03

ICE CREAM!!!!!! Nothing better after a noodly breakfast.

Lunch was “Breakfast Set A” at the Hainanese place. I LOVE THE TEA IT IS SO BLACK. I love black tea black and no sugar. Love. (But not as much as I love water). The eggs were just the right kind of runny and the bread was okay. Would have liked it more if it had much more butter.

Risked my life to take this. Had to climb up the stone chair to get to the higher ledge which lead to another higher ledge which eventually led to the ledge where the flower stood. The bottom was a crowd of green. Which was slightly comforting considering the cushion one would get if one were to fall…

Was probably at my happiest when I was shooting flowers.

Do not feed the monkey. We thought it was quite a redundant sign, seeing as there were no monkeys in sight. Oh wait, oh that’s just Ti.

More arcade. I scored best in the bowling by getting 2 strikes and 1 spare and I kicked my dainty little niang kick compared to Mum, Ti and Pa’s mega kicks :P

KTV was damn cheap for the dinner promotion. You only had to pay for the dinner (RM15-RM20) which included drinks, and you got to sing for 2 hours free. Hot damn! And the food was surprisingly good too. Oh and Ti shocked all of us by letting loose that golden voice of his. Wah lau. He’s been hoarding it to himself all this time!

More arcade – street basketball.

At night there was quite a substantial crowd gathering around one of the street bball games. This short shemale was dunking shots like nobody’s business! You couldn’t even see her hands. And she got it in almost every time. Power.
FYI each shot scored was 3 points. To get to stage 2 you needed to get 50 points. To get to stage 3 you needed to get 150 points. To get to stage 4 (last stage) you probably needed about 250 points. This person was at stage 3 and she was already scoring 408 with 19 seconds to go. Wtf.

Day 04

The Do Not Feed the Monkey signboard wasn’t redundant after all. When leaving for the bus we spied these 2. Win!

Bus trip was about 7 hours long.

Today I watched Wanted with Pa, and then Hancock with Zee and Chewy after meeting them and Irv. I liked both movies, even though there are qualms with a few aspects of the plot/physics/continuity.

I especially liked Wanted’s music. And I have to say I’m pretty tired of seeing Will Smith’s face even though his emo acting moves me to tears. And despite opinions to the contrary I really dig the potential backstory of Hancock’s past.
